Keepsake

Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026

In short: Keepsake has no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics, and we collect no personal data. It sorts your photo library on your iPhone, never uploads your photos, and changes your library only when you ask it to.

This policy explains what the Keepsake app for iPhone ("Keepsake", "the app") and the website keepsake.mksvrcek.com handle, where it is kept and the choices you have. Keepsake is made by Michael Kimberly Svrcek ("we", "us").

Your photo library

Keepsake asks for access to your photo library so it can show you your photos and videos one at a time. iOS lets you share all of them or only the ones you choose, and you can change that at any time in Settings › Apps › Keepsake › Photos. Keepsake reads the photos and videos you share, with their dates, places, sizes, favourites and albums, on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us or anyone else, and Keepsake has no server of its own that could receive it.

If you use iCloud Photos, iOS downloads an original from Apple's iCloud when Keepsake needs to show it, as the Photos app does. That happens between your iPhone and Apple, under Apple's Privacy Policy.

What stays on your iPhone

To remember where you are, Keepsake keeps these on your iPhone only:

Like other apps' data, they're included in your iPhone's own backups if you make them.

Changes to your library, when you ask

Keepsake changes your photo library only when you tell it to: when you favourite a photo, add photos to an album, make an album or a folder, change a date or a place, or delete the photos in the Archive. Deleting always asks you to confirm in an iOS alert first, and deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in Photos, where you can recover them for up to 30 days. Swiping a photo left only archives it inside Keepsake; your library stays as it was.

Keepsake Plus

Keepsake Plus is an in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or your Apple Account. Keepsake only checks with the App Store, on your iPhone, whether Plus has been bought, so it can unlock it and restore it. How many free tries of a Plus feature you've used is kept on your iPhone.

Diagnostics

Keepsake has no analytics or crash-reporting code of its own. If you share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us without identifying you.

This website

keepsake.mksvrcek.com is a static site hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to its pages without cookies and without identifying or following visitors. The site sets no cookies, and the try-it photos on the home page are examples drawn for the site: nothing you do with them is sent anywhere.

Keeping and deleting your data

Children

Keepsake isn't directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. Keepsake keeps what it uses on your iPhone, where you control it, and we hold none of it; for anything else, contact us and we'll help.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
