01The Archive

Delete when
you're sure.

A swipe left puts a photo in the Archive. Untick anything you want back, then delete the rest in one go. Photos keeps them in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days.

02Albums

Start anywhere
in your library.

Pick up from Today, a year, your screenshots or any of your albums. Each one says how many photos are left to go, and fills a line as you work through it.

03Swipe or Scroll

Swipe cards,
or scroll a feed.

Swipe shows one card at a time. Scroll gives each photo the whole screen, like a video feed: move on to skip it, or tap Keep, Archive or the heart.

04Dates and places

Fix the details
as you go.

Tap a photo's date to change it, or its pin to place it on a map. Select several to change them all at once, add them to an album, or favourite them.

05Keepsake Plus

Find the doubles
and the big files.

Keepsake Plus adds three tools to the free app. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription, and the App Store shows its price where you are.

  • Similar photos

Keepsake groups bursts and near-identical shots, and marks the best of each. Keep it and archive the rest with one tap.

  • Smart clean-up

Big videos, blurry shots, screenshots over a month old, photos missing a date or place, and your biggest files first, each with the space it frees.

  • Swipe up to file

Swipe a photo up to keep it and drop it into the album you pick, in one move. Your first 10 swipes up are free.

Made for
a big library.

  • Undo

Changed your mind? Undo takes back the last decision, in either mode.

  • A year at a time

Years lists your library by year, then by month, so you can sort one stretch at a time.

  • Filters

Show only photos, screenshots, portraits or videos, or bring back the ones you've already sorted.

  • Start random

Start random opens your library at a random photo. Shuffle does the same inside the album you're in.

  • Your progress

A ring shows how much of your library you've reviewed, with what you've kept, archived and deleted, and the space freed.

  • iCloud Photos

Photos kept in iCloud download as you reach them, with their progress on the card.

Your photos stay
on your iPhone.

  • Sorted on your iPhone

Keepsake has no account and no server, and never uploads your photos. It compares similar photos on your iPhone too. Privacy Policy

  • Changes you'll see in Photos

Favourites, albums, dates and places are saved to your photo library, so the Photos app shows them too.

  • Made by one person

Keepsake is made by Michael Kimberly Svrcek, who also makes Peregrino, PocaPal and UoP Bus. Support

Questions. Answered.
